Elementary Member Representative By-Election

Members of Calgary Public Teachers, Alberta Teachers' Association Local 38 are hereby notified that NOMINATIONS for positions on the Local Association Executive Committee Elementary Member Representative for the period 2023 July 1 to 2024 June 30 will be received up to 2023 May 11, 1630 hrs at the Local office, 340, 6815 – 8th Street NE, Calgary, AB T2E 7H7.

Any ten elementary members who are listed on the Calgary Board of Education elementary teachers' roster for the current school year may nominate an elementary teacher who is a member of the Local as a candidate for Elementary Member Representative.

Members of the Executive Committee are expected to attend all regular and extraordinary meetings of the Executive Committee and CSR, as well as General Meetings, functions of the Local, Regional Conferences and the Annual Representative Assembly. Honorarium and kilometrage expenses are provided.

Duties of Executive Committee members are outlined in Articles 4 & 5 of the Local Constitution. Nomination and acceptance forms, as well as a copy of the Constitution, are available from your School Representative(s), are available on the Local 38 website or may be obtained from the Local office (403-262-6616).
